Join us for a series of fun, free workshops exploring how we can use digital technology to develop creative projects in new formats, from installations, to performance and beyond.
As an Imagineer you will learn new skills and channel your creativity in exciting new ways across new media and spaces from physical to virtual. Starting with sound and visualisation, we’ll also be looking at how we can integrate technology into theatrical props and much more!
Whether you have previous experience or not, if you are interested in designing for space and place, future Imagineering, and new experiences or have a focus on creative technology and arts practice, then the Imagineers is a place where you will be able to push yourself creatively.
The sessions will be led by me as an Innovation Associate for Northern Stage and Dr Tom Schofield (Lecturer, Digital Cultures, Culture Lab at Newcastle University). The series of workshops is part of an on-going KTP project between Newcastle University and Northern Stage. More Information about the KTP project can be found here.
